Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 15, 2026

Last updated: June 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LGX2RICHARDS, LLC, doing business as Zelo ("Zelo," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Zelo website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide:

  • Account information — your email address, username, and password (passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider).
  • Profile information — display name, tagline, bio and Q&A answers, avatar image, and social links and any follower counts you choose to enter.
  • Your Content — the links ("tiles"), notes, and sections you save and organize, and your choices about whether they are public or private.
  • Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive limited information such as subscription status and the last four digits and card type; we do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support.

Information we collect automatically:

  • Usage and device data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Cookies and local storage — we use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (for example, dismissing onboarding or remembering a "don't ask again" choice). See Section 6.
  • Analytics — aggregated metrics about how the Service is used, and, for public profiles, counts such as views and clicks.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive personal information. Please do not submit such information in your profile or content.

2. Browser Extension (Save to Zelo)

The Save to Zelo browser extension lets you save the current page to your Zelo locker with one click. It handles data as follows:

  • Account/session data stored locally. When you sign in through the extension, your Zelo login session — an access token, a refresh token, your account email, and the session expiry time — is stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local to keep you signed in between uses. This data stays on your device and is removed when you log out of the extension.
  • Page URLs you choose to save. When you click "Save to Locker," the URL of your current browser tab is sent to Zelo's servers (www.zelo.so) to add it to your locker. The extension only reads the active tab's URL at the moment you click save — it does not track browsing history, monitor other tabs, or read page contents.
  • No third parties, no tracking. The extension communicates only with Zelo's authentication provider (Supabase) to sign you in and with Zelo's servers to save links. It contains no analytics, advertising, or telemetry, and does not sell or share your data.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and your account;
  • Authenticate you and keep the Service secure;
  • Process subscriptions, payments, and (where applicable) creator payouts;
  • Communicate with you about your account, transactions, security, and updates;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy, including content that endangers minors; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers (subprocessors) who process data on our behalf, including: Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage); Stripe (payment processing and, where applicable, payouts); iFramely (generating link previews and metadata from the URLs you save); Vercel (application hosting and delivery); [email/communications provider, if any] and [analytics provider, if any].
  • Publicly, at your direction — see Section 4.
  • Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Zelo, our users, or the public. This includes reporting child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement as required.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Information that is public

Zelo is partly a public-sharing product. Your public profile and any sections and tiles you mark public — including your username, display name, avatar, tagline, bio, social links, and the links you publish — are visible to anyone, may appear in search engines, and may be viewed without an account. Aggregate counts such as followers, public tiles, and views may also be shown. Do not make public anything you want to keep private.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to operate the Service (for example, to maintain your session) and to remember your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect functionality.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. When you delete content or your account, we delete or de-identify associated personal information within a commercially reasonable period, subject to backups and legal-retention requirements.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Access and update — you can view and edit much of your information in your account settings.
  • Deletion — you can delete content and your account; contact us at buildzelo@gmail.com for assistance.
  • Marketing — you can opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
  • Regional rights — depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and to delete, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined). To exercise any right, contact us at buildzelo@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at buildzelo@gmail.com.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International users

We operate from the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws than your own.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required.
